Terms of service

Last updated 15 October 2026

Goose (got-goose.com) is a budgeting app run by Michael Bailey in the United Kingdom. By using it you agree to these terms. Questions: michael@mrjb.co.uk.

What Goose is

Goose helps you plan a budget and track your money. It shows what you and your connected sources put into it. It is not a bank, does not hold or move money, and is not financial, tax or investment advice. Decisions you make with it are yours.

Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple and are responsible for what happens under your account, including in budgets you share with others and through assistants you connect. Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

Your data

What you put into Goose stays yours. You let Goose store and process it only to run the app for you, as the privacy policy describes. You can export it or delete your account at any time.

Fair use

Don't use Goose to break the law, to access other people's data, or to disrupt the service — for example by probing for weaknesses or overloading it. Accounts that do may be suspended.

Connected services

Bank connections, Google Sheets and assistants are run by their own providers under their own terms. Goose can't promise they are accurate or always available, and imported transactions can be wrong or late — check them against your bank.

Availability and changes

Goose is provided as it is, without warranties. It may change, pause or stop. If it is going to close, you will get reasonable notice and the chance to export your data.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Goose is not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by relying on figures in the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using Goose and delete your account whenever you like. These terms may be updated; the date at the top changes when they do, and continuing to use Goose means accepting the new version.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
